Career in Medical Science has always been respected and will be respected till eternity. Now-a-days, life has been so unpredictable and uncertain just like the global economy. It is the healthcare sector that supports the eco-system to be balanced. In India, one has to appear for an entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for Admission in Medical colleges, whereas some autonomous Medical institute /universities conduct their own entrance tests like AIIMS & JIPMER.

About MBBS & BDS
MBBS is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. In theory these are two separate degrees, but in practice the two are usually treated as one.

BDS is Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Modern Indian dentists earn the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree (BDS), which requires four years of study and one year of internship. This degree is overseen by the Dental Council of India.

Where to do MBBS & BDS?
MBBS and BDS courses can be undertaken at any of the MCI (Medical Council of India) approved institutions. From onwards NEET-UG shall be conducted as a common entrance exam for medical colleges of India wherein seats will be allocated according to merit and rank list of the candidates. Some of the few good number of private and government institutions conduct their own course program. However, one needs to get an excellent ranking in the entrance exams in order to secure a seat in the most elite colleges of the country i.e. AIIMS, JIPMER, and so on. These colleges have a history of excellent pedagogy, infrastructure and placements. National Testing Agency (NTA) shall provide All India merit list of the eligible candidates on the marks obtained in the NEET-UG. A student can use national rank to take admission in 15% seats any of the NEET-UG Medical colleges in India.
